14k White Gold Waltham Grade 225 17j Pocket Watch in Open Face Elgin Giant Case

Here we have a magnificent antique pocket watch made in America by the Waltham Watch Co. It features Waltham's own grade No. 225, model 1894, stem winding and setting 17 jewel movement that still keeps excellent time. The matte silver dial features applied gold-tone Arabic numerals, a polished silver countersunk seconds dial, and a finely executed guilloché center section. The solid 14k white gold open face case was also made in America by the Elgin Giant Watch Case Co. and remains in excellent condition. The fine quality hand-fitted case features a dual-hinged design that allows the front cover to swing down and then the movement to swing out to the left. The edges of the case are beautifully engraved with a wheat pattern and the back of the case features fine vertical pinstriping with a blank shield at the center. This gorgeous antique pocket watch remains in excellent 100% working condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
