This is an exquisite mourning ring from the mid Victorian era. The head of the ring has the words ‘In Memory Of’ in black enamel with a carved floral border. The ring has been very well preserved and the enamel is in excellent condition. The shoulders have enamel scroll detailing with a split band. Inside the ring it has the words ‘Oliver Ob Jan 6th 1854 Ae 63’. This is a perfect mourning ring and a great piece of history.
