Art Deco Platinum Oval Cabochon NO HEAT Burma Star Ruby Diamond Ring
Here we have a stunning antique ring that was crafted from solid 900 platinum during the art deco period. It features a GIA certified natural star ruby stone that exhibits a gorgeous purplish-red colour and a well-centered six-ray star. The ruby weighs approximately 5.20 carats based on GIA's measurements and is neatly prong set at the center of the ring. The ruby is then surrounded by approximately 1.84 carats of pavé and bezel set diamonds that are super fine quality with colorless F/G color and very clean VS1/VS2 clarity. There are 18 old European cut stones, 12 straight baguette cut stones, and a pair each of trillion and trapezoid step cut stones. These pairs of trapezoid step cut and trillion cut diamonds are perfectly bezel set together and beautifully re-create the profile of a cut and finished round diamond with the trapezoid stone forming the crown and the trillion stone forming the pavilion. This magnificent antique ring remains in excellent condition and is 100% ready to wear upon arrival. The ring also comes with the original GIA certification for the star ruby.
