Art Nouveau 14k Yellow Gold 5.62ctw Garnet Double Halo Flower Cluster Ring

Here we have a magnificent cluster ring crafted from solid 14k yellow gold during the Art Nouveau period. The ring has a large flower cluster design set with 5.62 carats of natural deep red garnets. The centre stone is approximately 7x5mm in diameter and is an oval cut stone weighing approximately 1.00 carats and set in a fine milgrain bezel setting. Surrounding the centre stone there are three halos of round cut garnets all prong set and show the most beautiful deep wine red colour.  The garnet setting looks to have been perhaps a brooch that has been made into a ring with its slightly newer shank.
