Antique Victorian 18k Gold Ruby and Old Cut Diamond Crossover Ring

This truly breathtaking antique ring was crafted during the Victorian era from solid 18k yellow gold . It features an elegant crossover design set with a natural ruby and chunky old cut diamonds. The oval shaped natural red ruby possessing a strong medium colour tone, at the bottom of the face we find an individually set round old cut diamond, however, this piece gains it's real character through its swirling frame which is set, firstly, with a diagonal formation of old cut diamonds at the centre and then matching graduating stones leading down either shoulder.
